Scout

Description

A scout navigates the terrain with an innate blend of agility and stealth. The scout moves silently through the underbrush, their keen eyes scanning the landscape for both danger and opportunity. With keen eyes attuned to the slightest rustle of leaves and an ear finely tuned to distant sounds, a scout collects vital intelligence for their allies. Often, with an array of handcrafted tools and a trusty bow slung across their back, the scout embodies the essence of adaptability, relying on a deep bond with nature to guide their path through uncharted territories.

RP Advantages and Skills

  • Improved Awareness: A Scout doubles their Wisdom for passive perception (10+ 2*Wisdom Bonus)
  • Nature's Eye: When rolling for perception checks, the Scout may double their Wisdom Bonus for the roll. This also applies to tracking checks.
  • Quickfoot: Scouts are rarely caught off guard, as such, they can act quickly when combat starts. They may roll advantage on Initiative.
  • Whistling Arrow: See Below

RP Combat Information

Whistling Arrow
The scout crafts specialized arrows that produce haunting melodies when fired, disorienting enemies and causing confusion on the battlefield. This ability not only serves as a tactical advantage but can also scare off lesser creatures from the scout's path.
Skill Type: Ranged, Debuff
Attack Syntax: 1d20 + Hitroll
Damage: 1d6 + Damroll Pierce AND 2d4 Sound
Save: Willpower, DC14
Remarks: Even if the attack misses the enemy, they must roll a Willpower Saving through versus DC14 to not be disoriented for its next attack. If the enemy is disoriented, they will roll Disadvantage for their next actions.
