General Physical Description & Biology

Dhampiels are the progeny of the living and vampires, neither truly alive nor dead, existing in a limbo between these states. Their bodies age to a certain point, typically late puberty or their early twenties before stopping, never adding another wrinkle. With vampiric blood coursing through their veins, they are known as "daywalkers," as they are unaffected by sunlight and can exercise their full powers during the day. Dhampiels can consume both solid foods and fluids other than blood, allowing them to blend more easily with living company or even pretending to be living themselves. Though they have a quiet hunger for blood, it is more manageable than that of their vampire kin.

Basic Personality

Dhampiels often grapple with their dual nature, leading to a wide range of personalities. They can be both introspective and charismatic, navigating their unique existence with a blend of caution and confidence.

Origin and Lore

Dhampiels are a rare race born from the union of some living races and vampires. They embody the strengths of both their parent races while carrying the weight of their vampiric heritage.

Preferred Habitat

Dhampiels tend to favor urban environments where they can easily blend in with the living while having access to secluded areas for their more primal needs.

Society Structure

Dhampiels often find themselves as outcasts or in the margins of society, struggling to fit in among either humans or vampires. Some form their own tight-knit communities, seeking to balance their nature with their desires.
