The Agony Sphere prayer is a Furina-only clerical spell that causes those hit by it to be snared by an intense pain. This pain would keep someone from being able to move their feet. Those hit with the spell also take quite a bit of negative damage, but they can still cast spells should they be able to concentrate through the pain. Weapons can still be moved, but the inability to properly use one's feet would make any semblance of defense very, very difficult against a skilled opponent.
Those who are immune to negative damage would not be affected by this prayer, and those who are resistant have a 50% chance for the pain to be reduced so that their limbs properly work. Their is a 5% chance that this spell will backfire on the cleric, which would bypass any immunities or resistances to inflict the pain and immobilization on the caster.
