Kasimir
The religion of Kasimir is the faith of the goddess Shelynn, lady of Domination, Deception and of Subjugation. It's a dark, brutal faith based upon the view that everybody falls into one or two categories: Master or slave. Both military and political in nature, the Kasimir seek to control as much of the realm as they can for their own gain, making others conform to their view of the world and how it should be. To teach people the truth of the world is the duty of any and all within the hallowed halls of Kasimir- all must know where they live on the hierarchy, they should be subjugated.
Nadur Bekhai
The Nadur Bekhai is a religion formed to worship Tirradyn and the spirits of the natural world and is a new religion compared to some others. Those that walk this path are many things to many different people. They can be teachers, caretakers, advisors, watchers and guardians. Respectful of all that is natural they strive to preserve it and watch it flourish. Remaining mostly indifferent to the other religions conflicts unless they threaten Tirradyn itself or the spirits they watch over their charge with passion. Not possessing a strict hierarchy, the Nadur Bekhai are mostly ruled by a council of elders led by the mortal leader of the faith. The rules of the faith are simple and all members are expected to know, understand and follow them.
Thanasis
The Thanasis faith is a pursuit of immortality and dominance over death itself. Its followers view death not as an end, but as the next, eternal phase of existence. They seek to control this transition, using disease, discord, and disaster as tools to bring others; and themselves; closer to this "enlightenment." While they respect the cycle of death as an ordered force, their goal is selfish dominion over it. Life is seen as a fleeting moment; true power lies in mastering what comes after. Those who do not seek this understanding are considered mere experiments or fodder.
Unity
Those of Unity strive to be a positive influence and not a source of strife, wishing to help those within the realm. We do not judge based on lineage, but rather on the actions and words of the individual. The Angels of Kestia, known as the Sacred Spirit Society are constantly working in their quiet ways to aide those in need. Our members are encouraged to help when safe, none should be put in harm's way when there are other options. Helping in the aftermath is often the most important for the survivors. Self education and enlightenment are our primary goals, with the hope of using such things to help others. Those of Unity assist with those displaced, with many options for housing within the sanctuary for temporary security, or
long term if someone is in danger or under threat. Often in times of need,
the Angels of Kestia open the Sacred Sanctuary and the portal to Caramia to
help those in need. When the Void came and the world changed, many from Tirradyn fled to Caramia with the help of The Sacred Sanctuary, saving them from the destruction of the land.
Vadoma
Shadows are seen as the epitome of balance, since they are an exact match to their counterpart in most instances. As such, Vadoma is the religion of Shadow and balance. Vadoma's followers are from all walks of life. Good and evil people, and all ranges in between are accepted within its ranks, as all are a part of universal balance, however an acute recognition of the need for balance is required.
Vantiga
Vantiga fulfills many roles in service to the Goddess. They bring comfort to the dying, serve as priests who bless marriages, and offer guidance to those who seek love’s path. At times they tend orphanages, giving shelter to children left without family. In darker hours, they walk battlefields, granting mercy to the wounded and gathering the abandoned young from towns laid low by war or plague. It is even said that their temples sometimes host gatherings where hearts may find one another. Yet
above all else, Vantiga is devoted to love and to the protection of children, even when that protection must come against the cruelty of their own parents.
Volupta
Volupta follows the goddess Ariana, once known under the guise of Grendafel, and the tenants of desire. At its core it is a community-based religion that, like their goddess, doesn't actively seek to convert so much as provide space and service for all who seek it. It is focused on fostering and encouraging desire in others and themselves. Desire is understood to be the want of anything. In this way, every person has desires, everyone wants something, no matter how big or how small. Volupta exists to help people see this in themselves and, in some cases, to pursue these desires. It is, however, never expected that a member of the religion fulfills the desires of another. That is more the realm of Wish and there is belief that the desire in and of itself is more important than the gratification. Volupta is typically accepting and promotes diversity and inclusion. It seeks to be a safe space for all, often offering its temple halls as refuge for many in times of need. This could be seen as self-serving as those in need typically harbour many desires, even ones so basic as for safety and peace.
Wrath
Born out of hatred, fear or necessity, the faith simply known as "Wrath" adheres to the ethos of "might makes right", or rather "survival of the fittest" in the more literal sense. There is no ethos nor creed they adhere to save for one: All will eventually be led to ruin, and by some grace perhaps they will be remembered by the only god that will remain when the lord of oblivion has his way. This 'faith' doesn't exactly have an official name, nor does anyone a part of this sect coordinate with one another unless utterly and completely ordered to by the god known as Algarath. They do not serve loyally nor out of devotion to the wrathful god; but simply out of rage, hate, fear or necessity. Compelled by the utter sensation of obtaining what they consider the ultimate facet of power, they vie for their Lord's favor. Be it to gain power over others or simply out of fear to not be one of the first to die, they all bend the knee to Algarath. They believe in no faith, they adhere to no law, they care little for any other living being. Those that devote themselves to the path and 'faith' of Wrath do so for their own, selfish means. A means that will eventually see all of Creation led to the ruin of Oblivion. Their motives and motivations are their own. They serve not out of loyalty nor adherence to some law that binds them. All they know is the zealotry of wrath itself. Zealotry to the Lord of Oblivion: Algarath.
