Arioch - Rethia

Arioch. To Rethians, the very name conjures images of ghosts, of vampires,
and misfits. The city was built long ago to honor the Dark Father, Valafar.
Since, it has been ruled by those loyal to the Dark Father. In the wars
preceding the Sundering, the royal family was eradicated by the enemy, leaving the city without a King or Queen for the first time in centuries. With the arrival of Valafar and Sinsalee on Rethia, the former took up the
mantle of Dark King, claiming Arioch for his own. Now, with the city
reclaimed and slowly rebuilding, Rethia looks to the future.
OOC: Arioch is a city in progress. It is also a living, evolving city. That means new things are being added, removed and changed on a semi-regular basis. Existing roads, shops and other features will rarely move, save the temples to Rethia's gods. There are global events being planned to rededicate those to gods of Tirradyn, and all players are both welcome and encouraged to participate in these events. Should anyone have suggestions, questions or concerns regarding Arioch, please feel free to contact Valafar at your convenience. Right now, the city may be accessed via the doorway north of Dragondale square. Once passage between Dragondale's docks and Arioch's has been established, that portal may or may not be removed.
