Traveling in the Realm

Traveling in the realm is done in many forms, via magical gates, portals, doorways, shadowgates, runes etc. There are also boats and carriages that a pc is able to use if there are no magical means available to them. The older forms of the boats, would have you give the ticket to the ticket taker, however the new ones do not. There is an actual ship, or carriage that travels from the dock, or station, and moves across the map until it arrives at its destination. There is no need to give the ticket to anyone, simply wait for the boat or carriage to arrive, (this is signaled via messages in the room, so there is no need to constantly type look) type BOARD <boat or carriage name> and the ticket is removed from your inventory. If you are unable to board, then it is still traveling. The old boat system will eventually be done away with as more and more of the docks throughout Tirradyn are converted over.
