Camouflage

Keywords: CAMOFLAGE, CAMOUFLAGE
Category: command
Syntax: camouflage visible (to become visible to the public) The art of hiding within one's own environment, camouflage, started in the animal kingdom. Predators that hunt at night would hide within the brush or debris of their surroundings. As prey adapted to their surroundings, they adopted some of the colors of their surroundings to make catching them more difficult. Camouflage is a powerful skill. Using only natural settings such as a forest, a desert, a canyon, or even underwater, a skilled artist can dress themselves up as the surroundings. Naturalists blend in with the scenary and become indistinguishable from the nature that protects them.

RP Combat Information:

Skill Name: Camouflage
Attack Syntax: 1d20 + <Dexterity>
Remarks: Until you are discovered or you stop hiding, the result of this <Dexterity> check is contested by the Wisdom check of anything that actively searches for signs of your presence. If you make noise (such as shouting a warning or knocking over a vase), you give away your position. When you hide, there's a chance someone will notice you even if they aren't searching. To determine whether such a creature notices you, the DM will use a passive check ( RP-Mechanics ).

When anyone attacks a target that they can't see, they have
disadvantage on the attack roll. This is true whether you're guessing the target's location or you're targeting a creature you can hear but not see.

When a creature can't see you, you have
advantage on attack rolls against it. If you are hidden-both unseen and unheard-when you make an attack, you give away your location when the attack hits or misses.
