The cerebremancer class is for those psionics that have decided to effect things in the world in a more direct way. As their name implies, their skills lie in the realm of things that affect more physical and energy based things. They focus on abilities that more directly affect things rather than abilities that affect the mind. While retaining the more ephemeral psionic abilities, they gain an entire host of spells designed to create manifestations of physical and energy based affects, both offensive and defensive. Though they are more physical, they have not forgotten their roots, and also gain an impressive host of mental abilities as well. These usually come in the form of illusory components that often seem so real to the victim that they physically manifest the appropriate outward wound and affects of those abilities being acted upon them. In combat, cerebremancers fight as well as other mages, however their magic often gives them an advantage over weaker minded opponents, causing hesitation and fear in the hearts of their enemies. They have several defensive spells as well, which cause confusion, often making their opponents doubt the swings of their own swords and where those swings should actually be aiming for. Don't discount the power of mind over matter, however. Cerebremancer attack spells are often physical, or are so realistic that the victim's mind can't help but believe in them, and manifest physical injury to match what they believe they have been hit with.
