Changelings have no society of their own. They live amid the rest of the races of Tirradyn, adopting one form or another as it suits their purposes. Sometimes they may gain acceptance to live openly as what they are, but such is rare and many go through life never revealing their secret to any except the closest of friends.
Despite the lack of a formalized society, there are traits that most Changelings have in common. Almost all of them seem to have a knack for the Arcane and it is a frequent course of study among them while an almost equal number take up the mantle of a professional warrior. Beyond those paths many devote themselves either to the gods, to the defense of nature or a life of crime, their unique abilities lending well to any task they venture at.
Many Changelings are survivalists and opportunistic, taking what they need to survive and flourish. Some have also been known to be prone to bouts of jealousy, at which time they adopt another's form and take what they desire. Many are the stories of a husband or wife learning that their spouse had been unwillingly replaced by a Changeling who grew covetous of what they had seen.
