However, there's never been a happy medium. Where one spell may teleport you to a target, random travel is either vastly wide or down right dangerous. Research has brought about a new means of transportation based on the secular dimensional theory called the Dimensional Slide. The dimensional slide works by using an existing field, a dimension, that every plane of existence has. By honing into a regional field, one can cut temporary holes in the dimension and step into a different place within the area. While casting, a person will be randomly teleported within a given area to a different destination. A mix of indirect, but pointed magical travel made easy.
