Things to know before requesting to Play a Dragon on TG:

Upon being approved to play a dragon, you will need to write your descriptions for all three forms; the dragonkin (humanoid) the hybrid (an amaglam of humanoid and dragon), and the dragon itself, as described in help dragon-basics. One of the requirements is considerable roleplay with others, up to but not limited to immortal dragon characters. Staff has decided there will be no quest to achieve dragon form, and few restrictions on what age your dragon is. Your dragon must be of 'young adult' age or older. Do keep in mind that dragons of 'elder' or 'ancient' age are required to write a backstory, whereas it is optional for others. Upon creation,

Players choose a color palette/path upon requesting a dragon. The color will shift as their dragon grows in age/power/influence (this has to be RP'd and approved by Staff), resulting in a more grandiose color scheme in the end. Younglings start out in muted colors, their dragonkin appearance is less vibrant and glowing than their adult counterparts. As the younglings grow their color variations begin to become more noticable and vibrant.

Unlike lycans, dragons have complete control over their transformation. Only the Dragon Council, the Draconic Conclave or Divines can force a dragonkin into or out of any form. For a Divine to do so without good reason is frowned upon by the Council, as they see themselves 'outside' of Divine influence, save for clerical magic, or the Dragon God Shragan. Adult dragons have access to all three forms upon creation.

Note: Ancient dragons must be special-requested, and require an in-depth backstory to be reviewed by staff prior to approval.

BREEDING:

Dragons can ONLY breed with other dragons/dragonkin. Dragon/dragnokin breeding is only allowed for people who each have a dragon and have earned been involved in RP with more than relationship RP. What this means is: two dragon players wish to have a baby dragon, they find another Player who has also rp'd a dragon to play the IC child of the dragon pair. If you have two dragons, you cannot play a child dragon too. (two dragons per player are allowed only)

:OOC Note: Please be aware that there is a thirty day probationary period upon dragon approval. This allows staff to observe your dragon 'in action' and ensure all the guidelines are being followed. If you have questions, please contact a member of TG's Staff.
