Shragan the Truth

Keywords: DRAGON-SHRAGAN-TRUTH, TRUTH_SHRAGAN_DRAGON

Shragan very much exists and is something of a divine, albeit obscure figure. Given the few numbers of dragons that yet live, the knowledge of Shragan isn't very widely known as they're only worshipped by the truest devout's of dragons. Most of which the populace at large isn't save for the dragons themselves.

Shragan, however, has not physically been seen in some time. The reason for this, as some divines would know, is that his power is bound to the Dragon Council that exists. Specifically to ensure the survival of their kind and see them through a sort of re-emergence. In the Elder Dragons lies the divided power of Shragan himself. Only to be unified under the greatest of threats to their kind.

While the threats of the world do not go unnoticed, they seldom act and use this power. Believing it to only be at the cusp of the world's end that such would be released. For the failure of this power would surely doom their kind to extinction.

For this reason, the power of Shragan remains undivided until a time comes that the dragon will be reborn anew and dragon-kind pulls away from the cusp of total annihilation. Only then will Shragan rise from the ashen to resume his direct oversight of the dragons once more.

Shragan is not malevolent, nor is he overwhelming benevolent. He is something of a level-headed, neutral figure in all things that is understanding of most situations. For this reason, he is actually fairly easy to approach so long such is done with the proper amount of respect and humility. Shragan himself is the embodiment of what one expects of a dragon: Dominance and conquest. However, he embodies the traits of the alternate side of their kind. That being mercy, tolerance, and understanding. It's for that reason alone that Shragan is known to be a "Sage King" with a fierce bite.
