Snow fae:
Snow fae greatly resemble snow elves, with snow white skin very cold to the touch. It is almost numbing and they tend to leave trails of frost where they walk or fly. It usually takes them a little longer to grow, but especially their wings, which are downy like snow and are shaped like snowflakes. There are some snow faeries who are blue as ice rather than white, as well as a rare variety who are red-skinned as though from the cold. Blue and white is predominant in snow fae skin however. Having the snowflake shaped wings also sets them apart like pixies, as well as the fact they live in the mountains or snow fields, tending to the little plants that grow there. Their hair ranges from white, to silver or silvery white, to blue, or purple. Their eyes are always some form of icy blue or purple and sometimes blank white like the snow. They live in nests built of snow, or work together to make small ice houses. It is not uncommon for ice to freeze to their snowy wings and make them tinkle like wind-chimes.
