Syntax:
fork 'spell' target
This ability will make a spell that is cast fork into a two-prong spell. It consumes twice the mana, but the spell will strike the target twice. If the spell kills the initial target on the first strike, it will then strike the next available target in the room. This can only be used to initiate combat and not used during combat because of the concentration it requires to use.

Remarks: To initiate FORKING a spell, the caster must roll an INTELLIGENCE check versus 12. On a success, they may FORK their spell. This will allow the spell to strike TWO enemies within the range of the spell they are splitting in two. They must roll the attack on each target per the instructions of the spell they are FORKING. For 1 round after using this ability, their SPELL HITROLL and SPELL DAMROLL is reduced by 2. This does not work on AOE spells. This does not consume two castings of the spell to hit the spells per day limit.
