General Physical Description & Biology:
Goblins are small humanoids, averaging a little over three feet tall and weighing under one hundred pounds. They have flat faces, broad noses, pointed ears, and wide mouths filled with small, sharp fangs. Their dull, glazed eyes can be bright red, putrid green, or electric yellow. Goblins typically have a slight, nimble build, allowing them to scuttle quickly through small spaces. Their eyes tend to be very large with wide pupils allowing them good dark vision adaption. They have a strong digestive system that lets them eat raw or even rotten meats and things.

Basic Personality:
Goblins are often viewed as cruel and cunning, frequently engaging in squabbling and infighting. They have a harsh and high-pitched speech that reflects their aggressive nature. While they are capable of camaraderie within their tribes, they are not known for their compassion toward outsiders.

Origin and Lore:
Goblins are often thought to be failed imps, creatures too small and weak to survive in the inferno of their supposed origins. This reputation has left them marginalized and often feared. They have adapted to their surroundings, thriving in the darkness of caves and underground lairs.

Naming Convention:
Goblins tend to have short names with hard vowel sounds. Examples include: Gruk, Snag, Zog, Trog, Kizz, Blarg

Preferred Habitat:
They like dark and damp places like caves and underground lairs, but have been known to make tribal encampments in out of the way places as well.

Society Structure:
They are tribal creatures, living in packs with strict pecking orders, where every member knows their place, similar to a wolf pack. Goblins are known to take slaves for food and labor, and they are adept at infighting to improve their rank.
