The Asylum�s destruction was orchestrated by the "Lord with No Name", an evil and quite crazy cleric who had suffered terrible burn wounds. So horrible were his burns that he resorted to wearing a wax mask to cover his scarred face. With the help of some of the other inmates, especially the Pyromistress, he was able to burn the Asylum down. As the Asylum was locked down the patients were killed in the fire, but due to their hatred and resentment they returned in undeath and animated the Asylum�s staff along with the Asylum�s hounds, which had been twisted by his dark divine magic, to serve as their puppets.
