The rapists of Kedanna, Hella-lopters are strange beings to behold, yet beautiful in their own, twisted way. Roughly humanoid in appearance, Hella-lopters are covered in scales made of red crystal (though in rare cases other colors, such as blue or green, has been known,) reflecting and refracting light as it hits them. These scales cover every inch of the Hella-lopter body, including the sexual organs. Their eyes vary in color, but a pale yellow is the most common, and they glow faintly in the dark. Their forms are made for power, broad shoulders and muscled bodies. One odd trait is the fact that their feet rarely touch the ground, instead they often float an inch over the ground when they move. Females are almost never seen on the surface world, but they appear similarly, though slightly smaller than the males.
Hella-lopters were made by the goddess Kedanna many years ago, though for what purpose only she can say. It is believed that they exist mostly to torment the people of Tirradyn and to provide amusement for the goddess of the Underworld. Even today, Hella-lopters regard Kedanna as their creator and mother, and all at least acknowledge her power.
Many consider the Lopters (as they are called by most) to be evil, but this is only partially true. Their primary concern is survival, and they will do whatever it takes to do so, even if it means commiting decidedly evil acts. Hella-lopters are generally considered less intelligent than Humans, and to an extent this is true. Warriors at heart, Lopters will fight to survive with skill and ferocity. Still, they hold many negative traits, being prone to their lusts in particular.
