Below is how a cleric or paladin would make holy or unholy water as well as how players would use it as a weapon.
A POWERFUL cleric or paladin may create either holy water via the bless prayer or unholy water via the curse prayer. That said, they must be level 100 or higher. A lower level cleric or paladin is not yet powerful enough to bless or curse the water to harm these creatures.
The cleric or paladin must commune with their God(dess) for the flask itself to be made holy/unholy to even be able to contain the holy/unholy water, as well as the water, requiring two seperate type of dice rolls as reflected below.
Rp-Combat Information for Making (Un)Holy Water:
Blessing or Cursing:
For flask: Roll 1d20 [Check for Critical Failure]
For water: Roll 1d20 + Spell HR - at disadvantage, as this is a special feat. DC 16 to succeed.
To determine the quantitiy of (Un)Holy flasks made within 1 IC hour:
0-24 piety rolls 1d4
25-49 piety rolls 1d6
50-74 piety rolls 1d8
75-100 piety rolls 1d10
RP-Combat Info for Throwing Flask:
Attack Type: Ranged
Attack Syntax: 1d20 + [Physical Hitroll]
Damage: 3d6
Damage Type: Holy
Range: 5/20
Remarks: As an action, someone with a flask of holy water or unholy water can splash the contents of the flask onto a creature within 5 feet of them or throw it up to 20 feet, shattering it on impact. In either case, make a Ranged Attack against the target.
On a succesful hit, creature takes 3d6 (Un)HOLY damage, which as detailed below, will be the HOLY IRV. This will also scar the target, the flesh bubbling up as though hit with acid that will also prove difficiult to heal. It is a horrendously paiful wound. The scarring would most likely not be able to be healed.
Both creatures that would take holy or unholy damage are affected by the HOLY IRV codewise.
Unholy creatures are harmed by holy water.
Holy creatures are harmed by unholy water.
If the target is an unholy or undead being, be it vampire, banshee, revenant, demons, dark angel, saurot or any other undead creature they will require a flask of HOLY water and will be affected by the HOLY IRV.
If the target is a holy being such as angels, ambar or any other holy creature they will require an flask of UNHOLY water and will be affected by the HOLY IRV.
As this is just an RP item IC, you may string clay or a potion to reflect the flask of (Un)Holy water. That said, this is also per DM approval during Globals.
