LIZARDMAN (Frogman)

Lizardmen are similar to Mrem and Rawulfs and all the other hybrid races, a biped form with animalistic features, in this case those of a lizard. They are typically savage creatures, omnivores with a preference for meat, semi-aquatic in nature with cold blood and slick scales for skin. They thrive on scavenging, pillaging and, in less hostile times, fishing and gathering, and hunting less-than-sentient races. Adults grow six to seven feet tall, weighing up to two hundred fifty pounds on average, with large, circular eyes and scale colors ranging from dark green to grey to brown, often with a flecked pattern for camouflage, with their most noticeable feature, perhaps, being their three to four foot long tails which are, unfortunately, not prehinsile. They speak their own language, a mixture of hisses and cries, and often speak the Rawulf language as well.

Frogmen are most often male (thus the masculine title) and act as an offshoot of the Lizardman tribal societies in a manner similar to the branches of Kobold families. They and their lizard kin live in generally peaceable conditions that act in a manner productive for both sides of their intermixed groups, interrupted only occasionally by infighting in shows of racial superiority. Lizardmen tend to win such challenges, giving them the "right" to treat their frog relatives as something akin to second-class members of society or step-relatives, but such poor treatment rarely lasts more than a day or two after a fight. Frogmen appear as a mixture of humanoid form and frog characteristics. Notable differences from lizardmen include large eyes, very small teeth, a wide jaw and gullet, smooth skin, powerful legs, and a long, thick, sticky tongue. They also have a great affinity for wet places.

While they are often mistaken for the same type, Crocmen and Gatormen are very different breeds. Crocmen are more lanky or full-bodied than Gatormen. Crocmen are taller and average 7 to 8 feet tall in comparison to Gatormen that average 5 to 6 feet tall. Gatormen tend to have a huskier build with a long and thick tail. Gatormen are notorious for using their tails as weapons. Crocmen are natural sailors and have an affinity for the open seas. They can swim much faster than Gatormen in open water, rivaling merman in their speed. Gatormen have an affinity for hearing and smell. The sense of smell is particular strong. It's said that an adept Gatormen hunter can smell prey from at least 3 miles away. While being smaller than crocmen, gatormen have more mass. They often look wider at the hips and midsection than their cousins. However, they have much more muscle mass and are leagues stronger than crocmen overall.

Snakemen have poor eyesight, but a keen sense of touch. They're very sensitive to the changes in their atmosphere.
