The mindbender class is for those psionics that have chosen to focus on the
more introverted aspects of psionics. Some say that they are the most
dangerous of the psionics, having honed their craft to a very real and very effective tool. They deal directly with the mind, and with the physical world, their spells often causing long lasting, or very strong effects. They are often compared to enchanters, but while enchanters use their spells to enhance and improve the more elemental aspects of the things around them, mindbenders use their powers to enhance, improve, debilitate, and destroy. They gain many spells to improve and enhance themselves and others, but
unlike enchanters, they are limited to living victims. Also unlike
enchanters, they are able to get into an enemy's head, debilitating them and
causing a variety of undesirable affects. While keeping many of the
psionicists more harmful attacks, they have honed them to a finer art, doing more damage with them, as well as having several more added to their arsenal
making them quite deadly in combat merely from their spells alone. Their
true power, however, is their ability to bend another's thoughts to their
own will. They can often avoiding conflict when it isn't wanted merely by
making their enemies believe they are friends. They can turn people upon
each other, and make others think and feel what they wish. One must be
careful not to anger a mindbender, lest one find themselves believing with their entire soul that they are, in fact, merely a chair sitting in a room.
