Moon-silk is one of the rarest forms of silk and found only within two
places. A City that resides upon the Red Moon, otherwise known as the Mad
Moon or Xxyz. As well as in the Dark Tower where the Nostrum and Keepers of
the Night call their home. No where else within Tirradyn is the silk found.
The Royal family who resides within the one City that creates the silk, humbly asks that all those who wish to make use of the silk come to the Empress herself, asking for permission to have the silk commissioned for use. They are more than willing to accommodate needs of those who wish to wear the silk but also wish to keep the dispensary of such a rarity within their Empire. If nothing else for fear that their beloved Goddess would take the silk away.
Moon-silk is the lightest and softest silk found within the Realm of Tirradyn but is also stronger than steel. The moon-silk is said to have originated with the Goddess Ariana and that the Goddess Sachai claimed the silk as her own once she ascended to Divinity as the Goddess of the Moons.
The secret to how the silk is made is known only to a few and where the silk is produced is unknown. Some say the Lady Sachai weaves it within her free time, then giving what she has to those within the Kitsune City she loves so dearly. Others say there is a divine worm that the silk comes from that Sachai raises within her personal home. Regardless of the legends heard the silk is once more available to those who seek out the city it is found within or the Lady herself deems worthy of wearing the material.

The colorcodes are to stay the same for the word moon-silk in any attire, please. We ask that you do not just make an outfit saying it is moon-silk.
