The Nadur Bekhai is a religion formed to worship Tirradyn and the spirits of the natural world and is a new religion compared to some others. Those that walk this path are many things to many different people. They can be teachers, caretakers, advisors, watchers and guardians. Respectful of all that is natural they strive to preserve it and watch it flourish. Remaining mostly indifferent to the other religions conflicts unless they threaten Tirradyn itself or the spirits they watch over their charge with passion. Not possessing a strict hierarchy, the Nadur Bekhai are mostly ruled by a council of elders led by the mortal leader of the faith. The rules of the faith are simple and all members are expected to know, understand and follow them.
RULES OF THE FAITH:
1. Respect Nature and the spirits in all their forms.
2. Show respect to those deserving of such regardless of who they are.
3. The affairs of the other religions may directly affect us, so they must be watched.
4. If a personal matter should arise that will involve other religions, that person may or may not have the official backing of the faith - each case is circumstantially considered.
5. Allow none to desecrate Nature, but find out the circumstances of events before acting.
6. Pay homage to those plants and animals that sacrifice themselves so you may live.
7. Your actions reflect back upon the faith - be certain that you will be held responsible for any and all acts. Ranks: Voice of the wild - mortal emissary and representative of natural interests Hand of nature - warleader and enforcer, trains and heads the forces Spirit caller - communicator with faiths, groups and natural forces Forest keeper - warrior or custodian (usually of a region) Totem watcher - shaman, scholar or searcher often with supernatural means Spirit dancer - shaman or otherwise attuned to their spirit guides Battle runner - a tribal brave, junior defender or hunter Trail watcher - one in training, often assigned to follow another Child of nature - student, learner or one seeking guidance in their path
