The Spirits of Nature

Keywords: SPIRITS, NATURE-SPIRITS, NATURE_SPIRITS, WEAVE
The spirits of Nature are what was used to create and maintain the realm. What some call the weave is actually the way a thin line connects every spirit of nature to Nature herself, each being a part of her that she has sent out and into the realm. There are several kinds of spirits, though each is as important as the next. Primordials are the elemental spirits, those of wind, fire, water, metal and stone and land. Their nature resembling the elements they hold. They are ancients spirits who do not like mortals, seeing them as a sore upon the realm, only taking and never giving back. Their ill temper and lack of patience has caused them to surface in the past, destroying parts of Marewnwae and seeking vengeance against the vampires when the death of guardian spirit was done through a vampires careless act. Guardian spirits are spirits that all are born with. Though not all are bonded to. That sick feeling in your gut that tells you something is wrong. The hair that stands on the back of your neck or feeling that you should turn right when your intent is left is the guardians way of speaking to you. Seeking to aid and protect their charge. A person can have up to three Guardian spirits through their life, though the one they are born to, is forever at their side. Only those who have taken part in a Spirit Quest are bonded to their Spirit Guide, their guardian spirit. The other spirits in the realm are that which belong to every animal, every tree or flower, every seed. Their sole purpose is to provide, to sustain all that live among them. When the cycle of life takes its claim upon them,, they are sent into the spirit realm where they wait for their return to the mortal realm once more. It is very rare that a new spirit is created, the death or birth of one can shift the balance and cause a wound upon Nature that is difficult to heal, if it ever can be. They are as old, as ancient as the realm itself, for they are all Nature, the seed from which the realm sprout and grew, her many branches and roots. For this reason, those who are close to Nature, ask for what they take and give thanks for the sacrifice they made in their behalf. Asking the rivers for a stone, or the waters they seek to fill their waterskin with. A person who chooses the path of a Druid, usually has a closer tie to the Nature than all others. Caring for the land, cares for the spirits that lives there. There are a very tiny select few who can see the spirits, those who are born from Nature herself, or have been gifted the ability due to their love and heroic deed in her defense. NATURE does not like the use of blood in rituals done on her behalf, be it for good or ill. It is a mortal substance that aids in mortal life and should be used with great care, for if done improperly, can cause a corruption and anger spirits and Nature to a deadly degree. Usually Dark Druids are the only ones that will attempt to do so. This is a subject that is hotly debated among Druids of all kinds. Only one person, is able to open the door to the spirits realm. Her story can be learned through those who are of the Bhamori tribes. Once a Druid has completed their studies, (reached level 100) they are then able to partake in a rite of passage if they so choose. The rite of passage is a secret quest, one that should they pass, will enable them to choose their path in the end. The path of the Healer, Druids who use Nature's bounties to heal and aid others. The path of the Spirit, Druids who nurture spirits, are able to hear them when they are in need and aid in their care. Those who choose the path of the Spirit are usually scholars who teach others about the Weave. The path of the Land, Druids whose soul desire is to care for Nature's bounty, be it animal or plant. Those who choose the path of the Land are the more hermit like folk, who prefer the wilds and have little desire to be a part of normal mortal lives.
