. The nickname command allows you to set a nickname for someone. The person
may thereafter be referred to by you as that nickname, or their true name. Nicknames do not show up anywhere except in your nickname list, they are merely to make referring to people with harder or longer names a lot easier, or to be able to use a more familiar name with someone.
Example - nickname trellan coder
Thereafter, the person would be able to 'sayto coder Hello' or 'gs nuzzle coder'
and it would be directed at Trellan.
Only one nickname per person can be set, setting another nickname to someone will replace the old one. In order to remove a nickname from your list, use 'nickname delete <character's real name>' To see your list of nicknames, simply type 'nickname' by itself.
