ORC CAMP
Builder: Grakor
The tunnels of the Orc Camp have been there for longer than the Orcs that currently reside in them. Once Ursa lived there, though they were later attacked by a Necromancer seeking the secret of Lichdom and his own army of undead. The Ursa got the last laugh, however, and a small member of their kind managed to destroy the Necromancer's phylactery, causing the ritual to go awry and turning the Necromancer into a mindless skeleton that arises again each time it's killed.
The Ursa left the tainted place, but it was to be captured again by the Orcs. The area was ironically purified by them, for their god, Grakor, selected that location as the place for his Shrine. The Orc Camp became known as "The Shrine" by the Orcs, though others refer to it as simply their camp for a lack of a better name. The Orcs that reside there are protectors of the Shrine, those "chosen" by the god of Strength and Light. To the amusement of some, the "chosen" are those male Orcs that display homosexual tendencies, much like their god.
The Orcs of the Shrine are therefore relatively peaceful. They have pinned a water lurker and the skeleton into isolated areas of the tunnels. They do, however, have a long feud with the Elves of Palantal. The two races hate each other vehemently, though because the Orcs of the Shrine primarily defend their holy ground, they attack only in direct retaliation. The Elves, however, don't make a distiction between Orcs of the Shrine and those not of it, and will raid regardless. Elves who survive such (usually failed) raids get tossed into the jail, where they remain until their deaths.
