The Nadur Bekhai are treated as allies, although in a condescending
fashion due to the involvement of humans and other inferior races.
The Forestals who joined the work of Nadur have been respected and
assisted but kept on the sidelines. Even the inner council of Nadur
are rarely granted royal audiences.
The Council of Sages and Kestia's Sanctuary are also viewed kindly.
Those elves that chose to travel, to learn and follow a calling
abroad, are sometimes drawn to assist those causes.
The faith and city of Sendak are both foes of Palantal since the
torchbearers attempted a purge of the city during the 1120's. Many
hundreds of citizens were burned on suspicion of laxity, or perished
in the battle that ensued. There are still blackened stumps, damaged
glades, from the time.
The temple of Furina joined the battle against Sendak at that time,
but using means which harmed the forest. The druids have worked to
defuse this corruption, but the hostility of the High Priestess and
lingering taint contribute to hostility between the kingdom and that
temple.
The Kingdom of Felwithia is an ally, although the distance between
the kingdoms means that contact is mainly through magical
communication. The surviving elven kingdoms have learned the bitter
lessons from the divided years and attempt to maintain alliances and
uphold their defences.
The human towns and settlements over Nersa are watched, in cases
diplomatically discouraged or nudged, but practicality means that
King Tristan's influence is limited there. There are several trading
agreements with Narina, although elves avoid Gandren since several
unfortunate incidents in the town.
There is bitter enmity, although a cold rather than hot war, towards
the drow realm beneath Nersa. The ancient wars are still lamented,
old curses remembered by households who lost their kin and lands.
