The skies above this city are often an endless sea of thick, black clouds which cast a grey veil upon the surrounding lands. Despite rainfall being an extremely rare occurance, the constant rumble of thunder in the distance often suggests a threat lying somewhere just beyond the cities walls..
Looking out over the surrounding Empire from its perch upon a pillar of rock, the dark silhouette of Brimstone Citadel can be seen nearly buried within a thick blanket of fog. It's this powerful symbol which dominates the City of Ebonbrook.
Government
It's rumored that the Phelan Empire is ruled by a Council of Vampires; therefore, acting similiar to an aristocracy where power is in the hands of a small class of privileged individuals.
Legal System
Historically, very few items of law are considered to be significant enough to be brought before any formal authority of law. Those accused of any such crimes that do draw attention are quickly forgotten, as they are very rarely heard from or seen again.
Religion
Those whom choose to settle and find prosperity within these lands are often found to follow in the guidance of the following gods:
Trellan, Stianiku, Sheylynn, Seir
Kranth, Furina, Drugaal
However, there is but a single figure which is strickly forbidden, and upon discovery of evidence of worship will invite fury and pain beyond imagination-- The One God.

During the day, you'll find all manner of people within the city; however, once darkness falls only the most hardened of folk remain on the streets. It's then that the true denizens make themselves known, as all manner of dark creatures find sanctuary here.
