Player owned shops may sell items that the shop owner places into it, and will generate revenue for the shop owner that they may collect whenever they like. The objects you place into your shop must match the item types that the shop is set to sell, which you may set on your own. There are a multitude of things that you can do to acquire stock for your shops such as crafting, herbalism, alchemy, smithing etc. Crafting stores can be found all over the mud, usually within the shops of major cities. Players are also able to have a crafting area in their quest homes or keeps. There are also players who are very skilled with making things like potions, pills, etc that you can sell. Simply put out a role note or bulletin looking to hire or buy a particular product. It's a great way to spread around the role play in game, plus it makes the items in your shop more unique. Items from other areas in game, can not be placed into your player shop. shop add (adds an item to be sold in the shop. shop remove (Removes an item from the shop.) shop name (Sets a name for your shop.) shop desc (Allows you to set the room description.) shop addtype (Adds an item type that your shop can sell.) shop deltype (Removes an item type that your shop can sell.) shop mobdesc (Allows you to set the mob's description.) shop moblong (Allows you to set the mob's long description.) shop mobshort (Allows you to set the mob's short description.) shop mobname (Allows you to set keywords for the mob.) shop reset (Resets the shop and keeper. This destroys any items in the shop.) shop collect (Collects all profit made by the shop.) shop buylist (List your alts/anyone else to a list, allowing them to purchase for no cost.) You can only put things in your shop that make sense. ie, a clothing shop sells clothes, a potion shop sells potions, etc. Selling scrolls and or potions in a clothing shop isn't permitted. The types set on the shop must all make sense with the what sort of shop type the shop is. Once you have completed your shop, send an immrequest letting us know and either Sheylynn or Trellan will look the shop over to link it in. To have your shop placed in an empire or area you will need to do rp with whichever NPC is in charge of such things. Also to note. It should be common sense that you can not buy items from your shop with your alts, as this would break the rules in regards to no trading items or coins between your alts. Just restating here so there's no confusion.
