Predator

Keywords: PREDATOR
Unlike the more benevolent, isolationist pathfinder, the predator's devotion to nature has taken a darker bent. Modeling themselves after the predators of the wild, they have chosen to hunt and kill the so-called "civilized" people in retribution for the harm they have caused Tirradyn. They are the claws and teeth of nature that bite back, their vengeful hands caked with the blood of those that tread upon nature as cities and villages spread and do their harm. They do not avoid cities, as this puts them near their enemy and thus allows them to fight against them, but they do not necessarily seek them out either, still prefering to sleep in a bush over an inn. Predators retain much of the skills that rangers do, utilizing them better, and in subtly different ways at times. In addition, they have honed the art of death. Their ability to kill with weapons of almost any type going far above those of other rangers. As a consequence of their vicious outlook though, they tend to have fewer magics since druids tend to avoid them when possible, and generally choose not to teach when such meetings do happen, but they do have a few above what rangers accomplish. Somewhat ironically though, predators and their higher classes have a deep and abiding respect for the druid classes, seeing them as the caretakers of nature and will refuse to raise weapons to them except in defense of their own lives. The only beings that a predator hates more than "civilized" man are the undead, which they see as unnatural abominations.
