The QUEST system allows you to gain 'Quest Points', which can be used to gain a variety of powerful equipment and other perks within the game. In order to begin, you first have to locate a quest master or mistress, one of which can be found within Dragondale.

'
QUEST REQUEST' will then allow you begin a quest. The questmaster/mistress will then tell you what you need to do, generally either killing something, delivering a package to someone, finding an object, or tracking three targets marked for death.

'
QUEST COMPLETE' will then let you collect your reward when you do whatever it is that needs to be done, while 'QUEST QUIT' will let you quit a quest early if you feel that you can't complete it. Be warned, if you fail or quit a quest, you will need to wait longer before you can begin the next one.

Also, while at the questmaster/mistress, you can use '
QUEST LIST' to see a complete list of the items you can purchase using quest points. At any time, you can see how many quest points you currently have using the 'SCORE' command. 'QUEST BUY' will let you purchase an item from the list using your quest points, while 'QUEST REFUND' lets you sell it back.

'
QUEST TIME' and 'QUEST INFO' can be done anywhere in the mud, not just at a questing location. This will let you see how much more time you have to complete your quest (or how long you must wait to begin another quest) for the former. The latter can be used to remind you of what your task is, should you forget.

'
QUEST RESPAWN' was added to allow players to respawn mobs faster when they want to kill things in the area they're in without waiting for respawn. Just stand in the area you want to respawn, type 'quest respawn' and in exchange for 50 quest points the area will be repopulated with mobs.

When on a quest, the '
worth' command is a quick way to check all of your quest details as well.

In order to not receive any quest kill quests, you can type nokillquests.

The types of Quests you can get are as follows:

Quest 1 is a mapping quest, you go to the location indicated by the questmaster, then run about to essentially map the area a little before returning to the quest master.
Quest 2 is a delivery. find your target and present them with a package. Then return.
Quest 3 is a quest where you gather information. Seek out your target, then use the '
LORE' command upon them. Once you have studied your target, you may return to the questmaster.
Quest 4 is an item collection quest. The questmaster will tell you where the item was last seen. Go to that location, grab the item and come back for a nice reward.
Quest 5 is a kill quest. Go forth slay your target and return.
Quest 6 is the most difficult of all. Syndicates. This quest has you go slay 3 targets. Go forth, slay them one at a time and return.

Each quest provides a reward based on difficulty. 1 being the easiest gets the lowest reward. 6 being the highest reaps the highest rewards. Find your preffered quest and quest away!
