RECAP3-KASIM

Keywords: RECAP3-KASIM
Once reaching the top of ladder to the second level, our heros were greeted by a very large, angry mummified ogre. Once dispatching it, they discovered more hieroglyphics that appeared to be the same as those upon the wall just after entering the pyramid. Other were found as they made their way through the hall, so far those who appear be slaves, with sacrifices being made to a golden eyed dragon that is devouring them. Another set that which looks to be robed figures carrying a large gold chest like object toward the sphinx. The corridor that our hero's travel through, is quickly starting to resemble a gauntlet of sorts, with many traps and perils along the way that forces our heros to reach out to their primordial friends for aid. Mehmet however, leaving the mark of Nature with that of moss growing from Land where ever mark of the winged serpent is found.

More hieroglyphics have been found, one with robed figures standing shoulder to shoulder with one scratched out, another showing them being led into the Pyramid, though lacking one in number from the previous. The gauntlet appears to be getting more difficult to cross, causing our hero's to call upon more of their primordial friends aid to pass. It's been a close call four hero's, between fire and stomping stone, to quicksand threatening to bury them alive, but our hero's refused to give up, they did not falter, using their wits and working together, they have managed to stay alive. using their wits and working together, they have managed to stay alive.

It was touch and go for a while, the gauntlet threatened to take several lives, though our hero's pulled together, surviving to the end. Within the last run of the gauntlet however, the figure of a young elven girl, around five years if judged by human standards was seen within the mural upon the center of the floor. It was discovered that the child's name was Willow, Breeki's adopted daughter and that she was being used in someway. Their efforts to bring her out of the mural did not succeed, as the last remaining eye was destroyed the painting became a painting once more, and nothing more Though they did succeed in stopping themselves from being claimed by what would have been certain death. After thoroughly searching, the moved on, finding a place to camp and gain some much needed rest before facing the end of what they would find within the pyramid. Upon waking in camp, those of our hero's who have a primordial within them felt it growing stronger, bonding more fully with their host. (Changed tier 1 primordial description to tier 2 and now have access to the tier 2 power.)

Further into the uppermost part did our Hero's travel into the pyramid, finding places where time seemed to stand still as no mark made would stay. After braving another room that seemed to be one large trap they managed to save a Djinni that had been captured and imprisoned within it. Saving him has allowed the group one wish that can be used should they need to call upon him. Once reaching the very peak of the pyramid the hero's came upon the death gate that had been sealed inside. But it was not the enemies minions they would find protecting it, instead several of our hero's were affected by the rage, turning on the group who managed to successful subdue them rather than killing. With the way back sealed, there was only one way to get out, creating a large hole in one wall our heros escaped the place that had nearly been a tomb for themselves by sliding down the pyramid with the death gate in tow, taking it with them and making camp outside at the pyramids base.

Our group of hero's managed to get the death gate into the pyramid, though a couple were nearly closed up within it. Thankfully however they were successful, and the gate it more protected now than it would have been. With the gate secured our heros moved toward the palace, ready with a plan to draw out the remaining creatures that patrolled there. Their plan successful, they killed the three wights, and now are ready to brave what may lay inside.

After removing what is believed to be a prophets body from the cross and taking care of the seal that was found on it, out heros are now inside the palace, where they have managed to, make new friends, tiny little creatures called nibbits. They've also come across several traps and have defeated a defacer but thus far, not a single Akahraman has been found. Our hero's also managed to 'rescue' a few dire maggots, taming them and taking the four foot creatures with them while they continued to explore, along with another swarm of nibbets. They now stand before the palace gates, ready to go inside after being harmed a bit by the very tricky traps that were placed. It looks as if they were not the only ones that have been there, seeking entrance, as the doors look as if something very large, and very angry, tried to get in. There were also two piles of bodies that were found, however their cause of deaths are so far unknown.

Our hero's have made it inside the palace, and were greeted with caution by guards who appeared to be healthy and wearing quality arms and armor that looked as if it had never seen battle. The Akahraman survivor's appear to be sick, weak, malnourished and dehydrated, the group left a great deal of food and water and offered healing. When asked to speak to the pharaoh a guard left, then returned with the same little girl that helped them in the Inn, providing them with the pearls, had taken care of the little girl, tended the plants, left them poppy flower at the shrine, and all of the symbolic message that they have found.

The girl appeared troubled and concerned that the group had come, reminding them that they had been warned to stay away from the palace, that it was too dangerous for them there. Her hands looked to have been burnt, though Lomond healed them for her. After leading them to their room she informed them that the Birch kin had died, saying that she could not tell them more than she already had and revealed to the group that she was dying, showing proof of it when she pulled off her hood and fleeing when unkind words were spoken. The group decided that they were not waiting for them to be brought before the Pharaoh and chose instead to storm the palace, disabling the guards that had been stationed through the hall. One of the guards that had been charmed was questioned and they learned the body of the birch was in another room, yet when the charmed guard was ask how the birch died, it plunged a dagger into his heart. The remaining five guards are now tied in their room and our hero's prepare to set out once more. (See help recap4)
