Long ago, lost in the history of many worlds, there were three brothers. Through twists of fate, these brothers found themselves bound to the task of championing the cause of mortal freedoms and liberties wherever unjust gods
and goddesses decided that mortals deserved neither. They formed The Red
Ring, based on the belief that worshipping deities should be a choice. That
performing services to those deities also should be a choice. For these
beliefs they are constantly persecuted both by those that don't understand and by those that follow and serve the unjust gods and goddesses that The
Ring opposes. In the beginning they were forced underground to hide and
escape those that hunted them, but in later years after gathering great powers and mastering a multitude of magical spheres, they stay underground
so that they might be left alone. Able to live in peace and watch the world
covertly for the signs that they are once again needed.
They have traveled from world to world, traveling together, leaving behind worlds of mortals free of theocratic tyranny. Building up a new following on each world, followers distressed by the treatment they have received at the hands of gods and goddesses. Along the way they have formed many friendships, formed many alliances, and they have grown in power and knowledge, but have also made many enemies. (to be continued) :P
