Below are additional abilities and requirements lycans are able to have for RP purposes and RP-Combat.
During an IC full moon and during Kitsuseiga, lycans are forced to shift.
- Full moons. This can be determined by typing WEATHER while a player is outside. The player is forced to shift to their primary lycan form, which means a FULL shift.
- Kitsus, each RL day or time a player logs in to RP, they roll 1d3 to determine what form they will have. This doesn't include logging off/on to cheat the dice.
Kitsus Dice Rolls: 1 = Original, 2 = Hybrid, 3 = Primary.
Lycan Abilities: Please note that the stat perks are added to the stats you already possess, shown with rpstats.
All Forms: Can smell vampires, IE: sense them.
Hybrid Form:
Senses. scent, sound, sight - +1 wisdom.
Stronger. +2 st.
Faster. +2 dex.
RP-Combat: Bite/Claw +1 DR.
Healing: If injured, a lycan can shift to hybrid form to heal 4d10 HP. In RP-Combat this will take 1 full round and is considered your action and movement. While shifting, you are at disadvantage.
Primary Form:
Senses. scent, sound, sight - +2 wisdom.
Stronger. +1 st.
Faster. +1 dex.
Reflex Save. +1 reflex.
RP-Combat: Bite/Claw +1 HR & +1 DR.
Healing: If injured, a lycan can shift to primary form to heal broken bones and 5d10 HP. In RP-Combat this will take 1 full round and is considered your action and movement. While shifting, you are at disadvantage.
While in free rp, shifting can be RP'd as 'minutes' instead of rounds. We are aware that this minute timeframe listed counters the timeframe of rounds, but this is for casual rp and is there for flavor. Please just have fun with it.
BORN Lycans: Those aged 12 or younger take 1-3 minutes to shapeshift into either form. It is painful, but tolerable. Those aged 13+ take 1 minute or less to shapeshift. Painful, but they're used to it by now and aren't overly phased.
CHANGED Lycans: Those that have been a lycan for 12 years or less take 5-10 minutes to shapeshift into either form. It is very painful, and takes a lot out of them. Those that have been a lycan for 13+ years take 3-5 minutes to shapeshift into either form. It is painful, but tolerable.
Lycan Healing:
1 pound of raw meat heals 2d5 HP.
3 pounds of raw meat heals 4d9 HP.
6 pounds of raw meat heals 9d9 HP.
Note: If in RP-combat, a lycan is at disadvantage to feed and heal.
Alphas:
For Lycans in a pack/pride that have an Alpha, their Alpha can force a shift change on their pack member. Alpha can also force actions on pack members with +2 to charisma vs willpower. OOC consent required for actions.
Lycan Aging:
Lycans are not immortal, their more natural physical form is going to age like it normally would, however it would be somewhat slower. Below is the format to determine your character's aging.
Take the maximum age that your natural race would have normally, without the Lycanism, and add 30-50% percent, and that is the max age that your lycan can be. For example, if your character was human, and was made a lycan, then they would live a maximum average of around 150 or so years. If your character is an elf, then around 1200 years, and so on. Also due to their slow aging, this alos affects their appearance. Example being, a human lycan can be 80 years old and look 40.
Lycan Fluid Exchange with Vampires- RP-Combat Info:
Any fluid exchange of a lycan to a vampire is quite fatal. If a vampire ingests or allows any bodily fluid of the lycan into their blood stream or body in anyway, the vampire is to make a fortitude save and roll a 19 or higher or they die. This includes blood, saliva, tears, urine, semen, vaginal fluids or ANY other bodily fluid.
Even with a successful save, the vampire is extremely sick and at true death's door, taking 2d2 RL days to recuperate. This is not something that can be healed, but must naturally work its way out of the vampire.
With a save: Vampire's will need to double their intake of blood to aid in flushing their system and healing.
Failing a save: If the vampire fails their save then they a true death that is slow and agonizing unless a God(dess) deigns to take pity on them.
