Guidelines for Pets in Globals
Keywords:
RP-PETS, RP_PETS, PETS-GLOBALS, PETS_GLOBALS, PET-GLOBALS, PET_GLOBALS
This is to be for actual IC pets. Some players have coded pets used as people ICly. Those will be a different matter and should be discussed by the DM prior.
Only 1 pet is allowed in the global unless you meet the criteria below. Pets can be switched out one time only per RL day in the same global.
Those allowed to have pets in a global:
1) Beastmasters and Cavaliers. Up to 2 pets.
2) Druids. 1 pet.
3) Legit IC reasons for the pet approved by DM. 1 pet. IE: Blind character, Tribal Wolf Rider, etc.
To use a pet in a global, the pet must have RP stats. If a pet does not have RP stats, it cannot be used. You can look these up yourself with the type of pet/animal it is online with googling D&D stats for said animal. If you need assistance with this, please send an immrequest to imm with immrequest subject Global Pet with any pertinant information. Stats will need to be approved for said pet by Staff. Once approved the stats will be sent in an immrequest so the player and Staff can look up the information when needed. Player is responsible for forwarding the stat information of the pet to any mortal DMs, should they allow the pet's usage.
