The theory is that these beings are a tribute to the Goddess Zranic and the Goddess Kasim, or as some rumors suggest, their own creation to come into being at the time they did. Silver skinned with faint blue, red, purple or black tinting. Saurots have slender forms generally and can reach heights of seven feet, resulting in lean and lanky appearances. Some of the Saurots can have a skeletal build to their form, while others can be quite curvy. Pasty skin is often (Not always) an attribute of the race and can be tacky to the touch, much like blood itself when freshly spilled. Some Saurots can appear perfectly healthy with no signs of illness, while others tend to lean toward sickly appearances, with no actual causes.
Their choice in foods range widely but they do favor raw and freshly harvested meats. Lending to this taste in appetite, teeth of the Saurots are unique in that they are all razor sharp and strong. Not pointed as with vampiric fangs, but rather a perfect straight line. They claim concealable raven, bat-like, vulture, hawk, harrier, goose, wasp or dragonfly type wings. The wings can come in the colors black, silver, reds, greens, purple and dark blues or any combination of the options. Eyes can be the same hues as the wing choices. Hair shades range from white to black with no known restrictions, normally worn long and naturally wavy or curly. Typical facial features are slightly hallow with a deep sunken aspect to the cheeks and eyes. There is a distinct lack of any facial hair growth (No eyebrows, lashes, mustaches, or beards). It is common for many to have the shape and features of the less attractive physiques, it is not however, a rule of the race. Some can be breath-taking beauties or handsome hunks.
The Zrankas Saurot have the ability to alter their shape in two ways. They have the shape without the wings visible. They have the shape with the wings visible. Finally, they have the ability to fully shift into the shape of the creature their wings represent. The dragonfly and wasp cannot be shifted into fully.
While some may excel in physical professions such as rogues, assassins and such, they are more likely to be naturally gifted in the professions requiring mental skills and challenges. A unique talent of the Saurots is the natural knack of torture (Both physical and mental) and a wide imagination in the area. They can be extremely regal in appearance and often carry an air of dominant superiority in their wake. They are a 'live' race but do tend to prefer the darkness to being in the sun as their skin can be quite sensitive to the rays, causing the tint hue to spread heavily over the silver base.
While the race is not restricted in tendencies and alliances, they are more inclined to range from neutral to evil. Since they are a very new race to the realm (Due to a role-play event), there obviously cannot be new characters created for a long time. Not until the original Saurots would have time to produce offspring and even then, it is recommended to seek approval in order to play the race as there would need to be a lineage link to the originals. Life expectancy currently unknown. (Originals would have lengthy natural lifespan, offspring, undecided.)
