Separating of Alts From Another Player's Alts
Keywords:
SEPARATE, UNSEPARATE
Category:
command:immortal
Syntax: separate <player 1> <player 2> (IMM ONLY)
unseparate <player 1> <player 2> (IMM ONLY)
This command isolates two players from each other much like a forced ignore. The two players should then not see anything from each other anywhere. This will ignore all things IC and OOC for those separated.
Only Imms can separate and unnseparate players. Once separated, all CURRENT RP is voided, unless otherwise discussed by Staff. Any and all past RP will still stand unless those involved determine to void it before hand, also something Staff will have a voice in to assure that the separation is not a mere attempt to avoid IC consequences for the player's actions. That said, this is NOT something to be used to avoid IC consequences. Doing so is considered an abuse of the system and is against the rules and punishable.
Once separated, these players will no longer exist to one another. This means you do not RP about them still, or talk about them OOCly in a negative manner. As adults, you all should be able to handle any separation situations LIKE ADULTS. That said, we understand there are sticky circumstances at times, and IMMs will be there to aid as needed, even acting as mediators if needed.
If you separate your alts from another player's alts, then you must have a real reason why you are being unseperated. Be aware that just because you request separation does not mean it will be given. This will be determined by staff and will depend on all circumstances involved, both IC and OOC, and is judged on a case by case basis.
If a player wishes to be separated from another player, please send in an immrequest to IMM with immrequest subject Separate List with who you want to be separated from and why, including both IC and OOC reasons, as applicable. If there are only OOC reasons, then provide ample details. Be thorough in any information provided. Provide logs if you have them, and keep in mind to log any situation that might crop up. Logs are your responsibility.
