Her antipathies are Suffering of the innocent and animal life, and violence. Kestia's guiding philosophy is be authentic to oneself. Known lore, Kestia came to this realm not to provide Sanctuary as her domains may suggest, but for revenge. Trellan, under the Curse of Madness and the Dark, having cast away the force that neutralized him, The Illuminator, became Amazzal. As Amazzal, Trellan sought a power he needed to return to his form and he found it in Caramia in the Goddess Kestia. To get what he wanted, he killed Kestia's Twin Kamal. To avenge her brother and retrieve his soul, Kestia came through a portal with the Ancients of her realm to retrieve it. She fought and defeated Trellan who needed to be defeated to remove the curse of his form. She managed, through her stabilizing magic, to return Trellan to his proper form, removing the curse. This was partially because the realm of Tirradyn chose her to embody the domains of Virtue, Magic, Hearth, Sacrifice, Life and Hope. They worked through her to restore the Balance of the realm, binding her to the world as one of the Ten True Gods. She has been known to open the way to Caramia to protect the people of Tirradyn when they seek it. Sheylynn has long since worked against Kestia, trying to steal her power and her work, claiming it as her own causing friction between the pair. Origin, Kestia is said to come from another realm, once known as Versa, but now known as Caramia, lured by Trellan who needed her power to break a curse placed upon him. Like Kedanna, Ariana, Seir and Algarath, she was called to Tirradyn by the need. Trellan picking her to help stabilize the world and the magic within it. By restoring Trellan from his cursed form Amazzal, Kestia became bound to Tirrdyn along with her realm of Caramia. She trained there as a Goddess with the others of her realm. Her tenants are Treat all other living beings with the respect and dignity we wish for ourselves. Learn one's own beliefs and limitations before examining another's. Her symbols and colors include the infinity sign and the sacred flame. Followers and worshipers, A number of Angels and creatures from Caramia live in the Sacred Sanctuary, dedicated, by their own will, to Kestia and her ways. Other who seek her out are those who wish for peace and safe harbor. She often opens her arms to those who seek introspection to enlighten them on alternate ways of life and thinking. Place in the Pantheon & Relationships, Since her arrival to this realm, Kestia has maintained a cordial relationship with the majority of the Pantheon. She is not one to spend much time in the company of the Pantheon members, but will when situations require it.
