Syntax, This is the syntax for talking to players on the mud when you are in the same room as them. Say starts a conversation off when you are talking to everybody. For example, say Hello everybody. From the other perspective, Bob says Hello everybody. When you speak to a certain person, you use the words say to, combined into one, for example, sayto Daisy Hello Daisy. From Daisy's perspective, she would get, Bob says to you Hello Daisy. Autosaymote is another useful tool in a sayers arsenal. It adds actions to your says. Turning this on means you only need to put brackets around your actions when you speak. Here is an example. Say Hello everybody [he takes off his hat and wipes the sweat off his brow.] From the other perspective you would see, Bob says Hello everybody. He takes off his hat and wipes the sweat from his brow. You can add another sentence to this saymote after the action just like this. Say I like your hat Bob, [She takes it from him to inspect] Where did you get it? From the other perspective you would see Daisy says I like your hat. She takes it from him. Where did you get it?
