For roleplay combat purposes, mages cast spells, druids summon spells, and clerics commune with their gods. When casting in regular combat situations to level yourself the syntax is cast 'spell' target. You can shorten this by typing c 'spell' target, for example, c 'starfall' butterfly, c 'acid blast' butterfly, and c 'holy flames' butterfly. Another thing you can do is make aliases for your spells when casting them. An example would be alias sf c 'starfall' or alias hf c 'holy flames' . Spells grow stronger with time and these higher level spells are just examples you can use as you gain levels and more spells. There are a vast repertoire of them to choose from whether you are buffing yourself, fighting in rp combat, or killing monsters. Buffing yourself means casting protection spells such as strength of body which is a druid spell.
