The Roc - Baharroth:
Roughly appears as a curved 'M' shape of stars to make a pair of wings with three 'talons' from beneath the center. - The Roc is associated with decisive action. Those who associate themselves with the sign are often capable of acting without guidance in their chosen field and tend to operate autonomously well.
The Mountain - Kharaz Dorn:
A series of five stars forming a trapezoid with two stars above it forming a jagged point. - The Mountain is associated with steadfastness and integrity. Those connected to the sign are often dependable both socially and physically, and can be seen as uncompromising in their beliefs.
The Dragon - Melkaridrax:
A long snaking string of stars with two outstretched wings and a looping tail. - The Dragon is associated with all the hubris and power generally attributed to its namesake. The way it manifests is never consistent, but they often come across as aloof or inscrutable in their dealings with others while projecting an air of quiet confidence.
The Kraken - The Terror Below:
A tangle of 'tentacles' reaching up from a single bright star. - The Kraken is connected to manipulation and a constant grasping for power. While The Dragon is associated with security in it's power, those connected to The Kraken are often seen as either powermongers or schemers who will never be satisfied.
The Slave - Gorgannash:
A rough torso with two outstretched 'arms' from which a single star descends as if it were a broken chain. - The Slave is associated with giants, strength, and stubbornness. Those associated with The Slave have a view of the world and they try to stick to it, and when reality disagrees with their perception they take steps to mould it into a shape more pleasing to them.
The Matron - Alarissa:
A triangle of stars forming a 'dress' with a string of two stars rising from it's point with a single outstretched 'arm.' - The Matron is related to empathy, love, and mortal passion. Those connected to The Matron are often seen as hyper-emotional or else more in tune with the feelings of those around them and can sometimes be perceived as flighty. A need to nurture things also tends to be attributed to her influence.
The Chieftain - Hrothgar:
A 'horseman' formed from three horizontal stars with a 'leg' at either end, and a torso rising from the center. - The Chieftain is seen as wild energy and rampant curiosity. Where some signs may seem focused in their efforts to achieve things, The Chieftain is akin to a river that has broken through its dam. They can seem hyperactive or be seen as 'spreading themselves thin' but it really just a manifestation of interest in everything and a need to pick and probe at the world around them.
The Fey - Ysfyrna/The Enchantress:
Four stars forming a square, with a 'sharp jawline' created by a point beneath them. Two excessively bright stars within the square make 'eyes.' - The Fey is associated with mysticality and unnatural beguilement. Those associated with it can appear supernaturally beautiful, or possess great charisma. The Fey is also related to childlike fancy or fascination with observing things, in contrast to The Chieftain's desire to pick and probe at them.
The Well Spring - The Well/Llethspel:
An almost unnaturally precise circle of stars with five points within it. - The Well is associated with deep knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, as well as mana. Where The Dragon might be seen as commanding in the breadth of its power, The Well is quiet and humble. Those associated with it are often thoughtful and insightful, but rarely volunteer their insights without prompting.
The Jester - Jepharos:
An erratic vertical line of stars, from which four unevenly placed 'limbs' protrude. - The Jester is associated with quick wit, good humor, and almost reckless optimism. The class clown and the scathing satirist both embody aspects of The Jester's purview. While able to make light of many situations, they're often painfully aware of the situations they find themselves in.
The Tree - The Ageless:
A very large and sprawling constellation of stars, often difficult to track due to the 'branches' seeming to move or fall out of alignment. - The Tree is associated with growth, potential, and an inability to be tamed or broken. They're similar to The Mountain in their steadfast character, but where those associated with The Mountain can be slow to grow, The Tree is willing to adapt and change to fit the times it finds itself in.
The Storm - Tethyr:
An upside down half circle, with a single jagged line descending from it's center. - The Storm is associated with destruction and rebirth, both good and bad. Those associated with The Storm are often willing to make difficult choices, but can be seen as harsh or pessimistic because of a belief that things must be done a certain way. Just as a storm will eventually pass or move on to a new locale, those under its influence can often see the value in changing their perspective or to what purpose they direct their energy.
