The Ranun

The Ranun found Tirradyn because of the Goddess Kedanna. She was originally
marked, one of the few deities to become so, because as a mortal she possessed the trait they require for a Ranun to be born of any coupling. Kedanna herself escaped them however due to a fragmented personality that was created.
At random intervals, the Ranun return to the true Tirradyn and seek more breeding subjects. The first several times this occurred, it appeared that the subjects were those close to Kedanna, but since she is the focal point upon which the Ranun found Tirradyn, this is actually merely a coincidence.
At this time, the Ranun seem to have stopped their attacks upon the realm of Tirradyn, though at times, the one that claims to be their Queen might be found upon Tirradyn.
