WARRIOR GUIDE Recommended Races: Draconian, Orc, Dhampiel, Daevulf, Deasune, Drow, Giant, Human, Troll, Angel, Rawulf, Lycanthrope, Demon, Fukai, Jalachara Primary Stats: Strength, HP Secondary Stats: Agility, Quickness, Constitution Defining Skill: Powertransfer Important Skills: Kick, Enhanced Damage, Rescue, Second Attack, Third Attack, Staves, Quad Attack, Ultra Damage Basics: The warrior class is probably the easiest to level early on in the game, due to its early access to powerful melee attacks and dual-wield. But around midway, it makes a quick transition in the opposite direction. It's recommended to start off using dual-wield in early levels, but to switch to weapon/shield as soon as you obtain your relics. In late levels the warrior's real strength is as a tank, and it has a great deal of trouble doing significant damage against higher level mobs. Early Game: You want to max kick, your chosen weapon skill, enhanced damage, and the extra attacks as soon as possible. Focus all of your trains and practices on this, while using the excess to max your strength. Obtain a set of newbie gear from a newbie helper or noble. Make sure that you stop and get your relic weapon and shield by level 25 at the latest. You want to grab a Staff of Healing as soon as possible as well, either before the relics or immediately after, as well as the staves skill. Having the staff on hand will give you a huge advantage in being able to heal and sustain yourself while you're mobbing. Mid Game: Around the middle of the game you'll start to notice your speed in killing mobs beginning to taper off, slightly countered by the growth in strength of your relic weapon. This is where things begin to get difficult, and leveling a warrior can start to drag out. At the same time, things should be slow and steady, and you shouldn't be dying often. Make sure to pick up powertransfer as soon as possible, and keep it in your regular buff rotation. Late Game: At this stage, if you wish to hero at a reasonable pace, you're probably going to want to get the damtype on your relic switched to wrath. Most of both the hero mobs and the late level XP mobs are undead, so by exploiting vulnerabilities with your weapons you'll give yourself a much better chance. Additionally, if you've over achieved and feel comfortable fighting for your last levels on Tentacle Island, their vulnerability to kick allows you to dish out a great deal of damage. But overall, your best bet is to find a mage to help you. Hero: As a hero, warriors are probably the most lopsided, weird, class to take into consideration. Warriors and Rangers are the only two classes that lack a high-damage dealing ability with a guaranteed hit, which makes them unbelievably weak when it comes to doing damage. But unlike Rangers, Warriors have the advantage of powertransfer. The extra temporary HP from that skill helps a heroed warrior stay one of the strongest tanks in the game, even though the class still lacks a guaranteed high-damage attack.
