Wilder

Keywords: WILDER
The wilder class is for those druids that use nature as a tool to accomplish purposes. These people don't commune with nature on the level that the Oakheart classes do, but they do commune as all druids do. They are more self aligned though, and as a result, most of their powers are based largely on serving, protecting, or defending the wilder. They've learned to use nature without truly understanding it, or in some cases without even liking it, as if nature were made to serve them and otherwise had no other benefit. Wilders tend to look upon society with distaste, only appearing in cities when need presses them into it due to their hermit-like habits of researching new powers and the increased vulnerability while they're unable to call upon their powers as strongly as they are able. In combat, they're less able than true druids, having sacrificed some of their physical practice in their pursuit of the more mystical powers of nature, however they make up for it with their newly aquired spells. Along with self-based protection spells, wilders are able to call upon the abilities of some animals to a certain degree. They also gain a wide range of deadly nature based attacks designed to cripple and destroy their enemies. Wilders also retain their herb lore, becoming even more proficient and knowledgable with it.
