The Yeltragen are a race of bipedal snakes. Seen as intensely cold to outsiders, they can be warm and loving to those they consider their friends, family or allies. To these people the a Yeltragen will give absolute honesty, trust and loyalty. Everyone else means nothing. These beings are graceful in their movements and precise in their actions, they hold the snake closest to them. At heart it is what they are: cold, calculating, silent, patient and lethal. Physically they can be quite majestic. Scale and eye colors of every variety. From a brilliant gold to a deep, glossless black. Yeltragen stand at upwards of 6���6" and have been known to only be 5���8" at their shortest. Possessing a long tail, it helps to show off the mood of the individual, an intricate part of communication amoung themselves. They do possess fangs, but are incapable of creating poison and their scales provide them with some limited protection. Extreme heat and cold take a quick toll upon their cold blooded bodies though. They have a sophisticated culture, loving artwork, music, and dance with a passion. They are also skilled combatants, be it with steel or magic. Holding nature close to themselves they know it is what allows them life and hold it in the highest regard. They are willing protect it and those closest to them to the point of death, with little or no regard for themselves.
