General Description and Biology
Hanyou are, in essence, half-demons, generally half Human, though other races aren't unheard aren't unheard of. Because of this, Hanyou vary wildly in appearance but always bear markings of their demonic heritage, such as animal ears, sharp nails, and sharp teeth. Strangely, more powerful Demons tend to spawn Hanyou that more closely resemble their mortal half. A Hanyou will often physically resemble their mother's race more than their father's.
Basic Personality
A Hanyou's personality varies widely based on their mix and upbringing. They are one of the most versatile "races" in Tirradyn for this reason. Most Hanyou may lean toward less noble traits due to the corrupted blood in their veins, but exceptions exist.
Origin and Lore
It is said that the first Hanyou was a cross between a Human and a Fukai. Since then, the population of this race has increased slowly. It was once thought that the blood of Demons and the blood of Mortals could not mix, but this has obviously been proven false.
Naming Conventions
Generally the same as their parents, depending on how they were raised.
Preferred Habitat
Varies depending on parents.
Society Structure
Varies depending on parents. Generally accepted by demonic culture, but may be looked down on as lesser by some. Depending on their features, they may blend in with other races and cultures.
