Your age is determined by how much time has past since your character was created.
The date your character was born by default is 17 IC years before the day you created your character. You are able to change this age as you play to better suit your character and RP, just keep in mind to base your age on your race and how they might age.
Your age is not affected by the amount of time you have played online, if you want to see how much time you have played use the uptime command.
Age has no affect on characters ablities.
There are 2.52 IC years per 1 IRL year, therefore if you created your character exactly 1 year ago irl and you had not used the setage command, then your
character will be 19 (17+2) years old, and a half.. Everyone ages at this rate.
