A Brief History of the Tsukikomo Family

One of the oldest Kitsune families known to the race and world of Tirradyn. It has housed more Empresses than any other Royal House as well as the only Divinity of the Kitsune to date. The name means Moon Child and is quite appropriate for this family lineage. They surely must be Blessed by the Moons.
Living upon the fifth and lost moon of Tirradyn originally. The line was thought to be lost after the moon exploded during the beginning of the Gods Wars. Fortune reigned as a few claiming to be of the line showed up on Red Moon known as Xxyxz, or the Mad Moon. Legend says the Moon causes madness to those trapped there or not born there to keep the Kitsune safe. Though none know for certain if this is anywhere near to fact.
More than fifteen Empresses have come from this line or a line linked with this through marriage. They have been known to be wise and merciful rulers. Empress Okami was the first Empress to design a portal using totems to allow entry into the City from the forest beyond. Empress Chie was known for her use of acupuncture to relieve stress and pressure points.
A well known fact is that the Divine Lady Sachai is from this bloodline. Recently, during the alignment, the Mark given to the Royal Rulers was seen upon her forehead. Her daughter Mahina is said to have the Mark too. A daughter of Stianiku Thornbrush, it is said the Flilia Lunae, as she is known throughout the Kitsune clans, is bound for great things.
