. Kitsune Lore
Kitsune are a rare, secretive race and those that do come out into the world to show themselves or be known have their reasons for doing so. They can be skittish at first and may take time to warm up to anyone they meet that tends to speak with them, genuinely curious in nature which can get them into trouble. A lot of the race are also shy or just like being mysterious and keep to themselves. A lot of Kitsune find they are adept in the ways of arcane magics, some prefer to revel in Divine magics, while Druids, Warriors and Rangers are not unheard of. Monks and Thieves are seen in fewer numbers but they do have those, whom have succeeded in learning the skills needed.
They are demons and have more of a tendency to lean towards darkness or being neutral, then good and light. But there are some found who wish to help more then cause trickery and chaos. They seem to have their own unique sense of honor in their society. Not truly understanding "right and wrong", and mainly have no interest in resolving that they do not understand the concept. They are demons who live for their race and what they feel is right at the time, not having a vested interest in finding out why they are in fact doing the "right or wrong" thing. At times, they hold odd senses of humor, tend to beat around the bush in conversations and be indirect. But they are almost always polite, even in accomplishing those mannerisms of speech.
When two Full Kitsune marry it is said that the day will be blessed by a "Sunsnow". This occurance is when it is sunny outside and from the heavens fall snowflakes. It is said to be good luck for the Kitsune coupling and the village. They can have strong family units and tend sometimes to be matriarchal. Typically there is a mated pair and children, daughters are more prominent then male children. Sometimes the Kitsune can be found living in Triads, or larger poly amorous relationships. When conceiving Kitsune can have single births, twins or even triplets known as 'kits'. Large family structures can span centuries and sometimes the Kistune can be found living in 'Clan' type situations.
