This skill allows rangers and others practiced in woodcraft to build simple wooden items. They must have the right amount of wood on hand. Wood can be collected via the gather skill.

There are four types of items that may be built: a campfire, a raft, a shelter or a staff.

Syntax: build fire

You may only build fires when outdoors. If the room is dark, a fire will light it quite well. When the fire runs low, one may
stoke the fire to rekindle it. Once the fire is built, you may sit, rest, sleep, or stand at it, and it offers slight restorative bonuses. You are also able to cook food over fires, to preserve it.

Syntax: build shelter

You may only build shelters when outdoors. To build one, you must be in an area with enough wood- a forest or a jungle- and be wielding an axe. Once the shelter is built, you may sit, rest, sleep, or stand at it, and it offers slight restorative bonuses. This skill is

Syntax: build raft

Rafts may also be built. A raft will allow a player to move on water with swimming or flight. To build one, you must be in an area with enough wood- a forest or a jungle- and be wielding an axe.

Syntax: build staff

The final item that can be made via the build skill is a staff. It's a relatively weak staff but can do a conservative amount of damage, but can also be wielded by a low level player. Should you find yourself without a staff, this can do in a pinch. To build one, you must be in an area with enough wood and be wielding an axe.
