Ranged Weapon and Ammunition Construction

Keywords: CONSTRUCTION, LEATHERWORKING, WOODWORKING, STONESHAPING, FLETCHING
Category: command
Like smithing, construction allows a player to make equipment. In construction, a player can use woods, stones, leather, metal, and embedded gems to create unique ranged weapons and ammunition. The materials are collected via gather, skin and mine for the creation of these weapons. This skill makes use of the leatherworking, woodworking, stoneshaping, and fletching skills.

First, you must put together your items by using the construct command to fill in the various fields and embed your gems if you would like to. You can type
construct alone to see the syntax of the command. The material that you use determines which of the three skills (woodworking, stoneshaping, leatherworking) are used, and for ammunition, any type that is not stone ALSO uses the fletching skill.

Item Types
Ranged Weapons: longbow, shortbow, crossbow, sling, or blowgun
Ammunition: stone, arrow, bolt, or dart.

* Your construction data, name, short, long etc, will persist through multiple builds of items until you move from the room you're in, however any embedded gems will not, and must be re-embedded if you wish each piece to have bonuses or flags.
* Max of 1 gemstone may be embedded in ammunition. Max of 3 gemstones for ranged weapons.
